Series Description

Swingtown was a 60 minute drama series on CBS about middle class, middle aged couples living in a Chicago suburb during the 1970s who took full advantage of the social and sexual revolution of that day by exploring the world of open marriage. Some of the couples seemed to fully appreciate the lifestyle. Others felt pushed into it by social pressure while not feeling comfortable in the practice. A few marriages were challenged when one spouse was all for enjoying sexual encouters with others while the other spouse didn't care for the idea at all!
