Pig's Breakfast Trivia
The spaceship that Meeba and Grob crashed to Earth was actually their Galactic school bus. They were just alien kids on their way to school when they crashed.
The scenes in the television studio were shot at the Richmond studios at GTV-9 Melbourne.
Lucy was Meeba and Grob's talent manager. That helped keep their identity secret because everything they did in business went through Lucy.
Pig's Breakfast won an Awgie (Australian Writers' Guild) Award in 2000 for episode #36, "Grob's Clan Clug" in the category "Children's Screen Adaption" thanks to writer "Kym Goldsworthy".
Pig's Breakfast was the nickname for the TV show. It's actual name was "Kid's Breakfast".
While it doesn't directly relate to this series, it's interesting that "Pig's Breakfast" is urban slang for "a big mess". For example, when the left wing liberal man was asked how is marriage was going with his right wing Conservative wife he responded, "It's a real pig's breakfast!"
