Jennifer Love Hewitt .... Melinda Gordon Ghost Whisperer Trivia:
If you haven't watched the Ghost Whisperer TV show, it's still likely that you've seen Jennifer Love Hewitt in one of her many movies. She starred on a TV series titled, "McKenna" but it only lasted a measley five episodes! Another of her series, "Byrds of Paradise", lasted twelve episodes. Then Jennifer found huge success in her role as "Sarah Reeves" on the 1990s hit series, "Party of Five". Then, in the Fall 1999 season, Jennifer got her own series that was a "spinoff" of "Party of Five" called, "The Time of Your Life" but it unfortunately only lasted twelve episodes. Jennifer was also the object of one of Ashton Kutcher's practical jokes during the third season of "Punk'd" and she even hosted "Saturday Night Live" on November 21, 1998! Jennifer had a bit of trouble (like most young actresses) in making the transition from teen heartthrob to a grown woman on the screen but she's back as big as ever with the huge success of "Ghost Whisperer"!
"Jennifer Love" is a stage name. So how did Jennifer pick it? Especially her middle name? Well ... Jennifer got her first name from a girl that her brother Todd had a crush on. "Love" came from the name of her mother's best friend in college. Jennifer also uses "Love" as her nickname.
In answer to the number one question asked about Ghost Whisperer, episode #70, "Threshold" is the one where Jim died and episode #80, "Leap of Faith", is where Jim regained his memory of his past life and got back together with Melinda.
