Series Description
The Bewitched TV show was a 30 minute fantasy/comedy series on ABC about a mortal man (Darrin Stevens) who falls in love with and marries a Witch (Samantha). His wife's family is very against the marriage and he suffers one headache after another dealing with them. How would you like to be turned into a mouse after a fight with an in-law? Or be forced to laugh at your boss because your mother-in-law thought you needed a better sense of humor? Darrin found out about Samantha's powers on their honeymoon. After the initial shock was over, he agreed to stick by the marriage only if Samantha promised to never use her powers again. She did promise, but it didn't last long! She had to reverse the spells her family put on Darrin, didn't she? And would you clean house all day long if you had magical powers? To spice things up a little (as if it wasn't already spicy enough), the couple had a baby (Tabitha) halfway through the second season. Many episodes were spent wondering whether Tabitha would be Witch or Mortal! Eventually we found her to be a Witch and later she got a little brother who was Mortal.

Theme Song
Title: "Bewitched"
By: "Howard Greenfield" and "Jack Keller"
Bewitched, Bewitched,
You've got me in your spell.
Bewitched, Bewitched,
You know your craft so well.
Before I knew what I was doing,
I looked in your eyes.
That brand of woo you've been brewin',
Took me by surprise.
You witch, you witch,
One thing is for sure.
That stuff you pitch,
Just hasn't got a cure.
I never thought that I could be had,
But now I'm caught and I'm kinda glad to be Bewitched.
