Series Description

Maid is a dramatic comedy series that premiered on Netflix on October 1, 2021. It's about a young mom who struggles to support herself and her daughter on her own after leaving her abusive boyfriend. She moves into a shelter and takes a job as a maid at an income that doesn't allow her to be self-sufficient and pay for childcare while she's at work but also pays just enough so that she can't work full time and qualify for childcare or any other assistance.
