Series Description

The Wayne Manifesto was a 30 minute Australian drama kids TV show on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) that contrasted the difference between the way that 12-year-old Wayne Wilson wanted life to be and the way things were in reality.

The Wayne Manifesto Trivia

The series won an AFI Award for "Best Children's TV Drama" and an ATOM (Australian Teachers of Media) Award for "Best Children's Drama Series". David McRobbie won an AWGIE (Australian Writer's Guild) Award and Jeffrey Walker won a Young Actors Award!

The Wayne Manifesto was based on books written by David McRobbie.

The show was broadcast weekdays at 4PM and was filmed in Brisbane, Australia.

Jeffrey Walker was no novice to television when The Wayne Manifesto premiered. He has starred as "Bronson Twist" on the second season of "Round the Twist" in 1993, as "Qwrk" on "Halfway Across the Galaxy and Turn Left" in 1994 and as "Royce Tiegan" on "Mirror, Mirror" in 1995. From 1994-1997 he starred as "Brett Bates" on "Ocean Girl" while also starring on previously mentioned series and The Wayne Manifesto! Since then he has gone on to star on "Thunderstone" and "Spy Shop"!
