Series Description

The Odyssey 5 TV show was a 60 minute sci-fi series on Showtime about space shuttle astronauts who witnessed the destruction of the Earth while in orbit. They were given an opportunity to save mankind when an alien sent them back in time five years so they could find out who orchestrated the apocalypse and prevent it from occuring.

Odyssey 5 Trivia

You've probably seen Christopher Gorham on another series at one time or another. He hasn't been fortunate enought to hit on a big winner yet, but he never seems to be off the air! He had the lead role in the 2003 sci-fi series, "Jake 2.0". After that series, he got one of the main roles on the 2004 medical drama series, "Medical Investigation". Then he landed the main role on the comedy series, "Out of Practice". What versatility! Unfortunately, that series has also been canceled after only one short season. Christopher has a couple of movies in the works though, and we'll more than likely see him well into the future.

Peter Weller was once engaged to actress Sela Ward ("Once and Again (1999)" "Sisters (1991)" "House (2004)").

We saw the Earth destroyed, and in a heartbeat everything and everyone we knew was gone.
There were five of us, the crew of the space shuttle Odyssey, and we were the only survivors.
A mysterious being who called himself The Seeker rescued us and sent us back in time.
And now we have five years to live over, five years to discover who or what destroyed the Earth...
five years to stop it from happening again.
