Edie Falco .... Jackie Peyton (2009-) Nurse Jackie Trivia
The front entrance of All Saints Hospital is in real life in the Gramercy section of Manhattan. To be exact, it's the East 25th Street entryway of the William and Anita Newman Vertical Campus of Baruch College.
Nurse Jackie is not the first show on which Edie Falco ("Jackie") worked alongside Paul Schulze ("Eddie"). They also both worked on "Homicide: Life on the Street", "The Sopranos", "Oz", and "New York Undercover" although on New York Undercover they never appeared in the same episode.
From the very beginning it was decided that Jackie would never go into rehab. After all, the storyline depends on her coping with a high pressure life while on drugs. But when Edie Falco started having people approach her and cheerfully say that they took the same drugs as Jackie, Falco felt that maybe it wasn't ideal to show a functioning drug addict. So anyway, that's why they decided to have Jackie break down and enter rehab.
