Series Description

The Next TV Show (subtitled: "Fame is at Your Doorstep") is a 60 minute musical competitive reality series on the CW where musical performers are mentored by music superstars and then compete to see who will be "The Next" big star! The winner will receive a recording contract with Atlantic Records.

The Next Trivia

The full title of this series is, "The Next: Fame is at Your Doorstep but it's commonly referred to as simply, "The Next".

This series is different from other musical competition series in that the competitors have already gained some fame in their own cities and/or they've worked as opening acts for big name musical superstars.

Prior to the competition beginning, the mentors spend 3 days in each of six cities across America to help their contestants to prepare for the competition.
