Series Description

The New Normal is a 30 minute comedy series on NBC that revolves around a young woman living in Ohio who gave up her dream of becoming a lawyer when she became pregnant. When she caught her man in bed with another woman, she ran away with her daughter to start a new life in California. She wanted to return to law school but didn't have the money so she decided to be a surrogate mother for a gay male couple who badly wanted a child of their own. The $35,000 she would receive for her efforts would get her back on track to her goal of having a legal career and making a better life for her daughter. So is having a child for a gay couple non-traditional or is it The New Normal?
