Series Description

The Mysteries of Laura TV show is a 60 minute crime drama series on NBC about a female homicide detective with the NYPD who manages to solve one case after another while dealing with a pending divorce from a fellow NYPD Detective Captain and raising two unruly twin boys.

This series is based upon a popular Spanish TV series titled, "Los misterios de Laura".

Most successful actors are well educated but Debra Messing is exceptional. In addition to her natural talent and experience she also has a Master's Degree in Acting from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts!

Josh Lucas has something in common with Tom Hanks. Hanks lost 50 pounds to portray the starving Chuck Noland in the 2000 film, "Cast Away" and Lucas gained 40 pounds to portray legendary basketball coach Don Haskins in the 2006 film, "Glory Road". Then, of course, he had to take the weight back off. Now that's dedication!
