Series Description

The Mob Doctor is a 60 minute drama series that premiered on Fox on September 17, 2012. It's about a young, female thoracic surgeon who agrees to moonlight as a doctor for the mob in order to pay off her brother's huge gambling debt. Otherwise the mobsters would have killed her brother. She soon finds that she will be asked to do more than just patch up gunshot-wounded criminals. She will also occasionally be expected to use her position at the most prominent hospital in Chicago to see that some patients who are enemies of the mob don't survive their hospital stays! Doctor Devlin never agreed to kill anyone but once the mob has you in their pocket, how can you refuse them anything?
