Kyle MacLachlan graduated with a bachelor of fine arts degree from the University of Washington. He claims that Johann Sebastian Bach is his ancestor. He may have made a bad career decision when he early in his career turned down the starring role in the 1986 film, "Platoon" that was then given to Charlie Sheen. That didn't slow him down much though as he shortly nabbed several movie roles and the starring role on "Twin Peaks". That was followed by numerous movies roles on both the big screen and in TV movies. Then in 2000 he got the role as "Trey MacDougal" for 23 episodes on "Sex and the City" and younger fans probably know him as "Orson Hodge" on nearly 100 episodes of "Desperate Housewives".
There were two more episodes of Made in Jersey that were produced but did not air due to early cancellation of the series. Their titles were "Wingman" and "Payday". "CSI New York" moved from 8pm eastern to 9pm to fill it's slot and the 8pm slot was filled with "Hawaii Five-0" repeats.
