Series Description

The Lot TV show was a 30 minute drama series with a comedy twist that aired on AMC. It was about the mythical movie studio, "Sylver Screen Pictures" in the late 1930s and the stars and crew who worked there. References were often made to real-life stars from that time period.

The Lot Trivia

Among many other nominations, The Lot won an Emmy in 2001 in the "Outstanding Costumes for a Series" category. That was a pretty impressive achievement because The Lot beat out "Sex and the City", "The Sopranos", "Star Trek: Voyager", and "Will & Grace" for the award!
