There were two additional episodes of L.A. Dragnet that were produced but did not originally air anywhere. Their titles were: "Riddance" and "Killing Fields".
L.A. Dragnet was the latest in the continuing series about Los Angeles detectives. The Dragnet Radio Show first aired in 1949. On December 16, 1951, Dragnet appeared on television and starred the legendary Jack Webb for 8 seasons! In 1967, Dragnet returned to TV screens for three more years! In 1987, Dan Aykroyd and Tom Hanks appeared in a movie, also titled Dragnet, which was actually a comedic spoof of the series.
L.A. Dragnet brought the series into the 21st Century with high-tech updates such as a miniature, radio-controlled helicopter that provided overhead surveillance for the detectives.
