Series Description

The Bottom TV show was a 30 minute British comedy series on BBC2 about two buddies who shirk all responsibility in order to bum around having a good time and living on government handouts.

Bottom Trivia:

There was one episode of the Bottom TV show titled, "'s Out" that was scheduled to air on October 14, 1991 but did not due to a murder that occured on Wimbledon Common. Richie and Eddie camped there in the episode and producers felt that it would be in bad taste to broadcast it under those conditions. It would have been the final episode of the second season, and when that season was re-run in 1995, the 's Out was finally seen by audiences (on April 10, 1995).

The series was originally planned to be named, "Your Bottom". Adrian Edmondson and Rik Mayall thought it would be funny to hear people say stuff like, "Did you see your bottom on TV last night"?
