Ben Stiller Ben Stiller Show Trivia:
Ben Stiller is the son of comedians Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara. Many viewers will know Jerry Stiller as the crotchedy old father living in his daughter and son-in-law's basement on "The King of Queens"! You may not realize, however, that Jerry and Anne were a very popular comedy team on television several decades before their son Ben even began his acting career. Both Anne and Jerry starred on "The Paul Lynde Show" in 1972! Jerry also appeared on the short-lived series, "The Tattingers" in 1988! Anne Meara starred on the popular alien comedy series, "Alf" and the "All in the Family" "spinoff", "Archie Bunker's Place".
Even though the Ben Stiller Show aired on the Fox Network, it was produced by HBO!
The Ben Stiller Show attracted some very popular comedians as guest stars including Roseanne Arnold ("Roseanne"), Tom Arnold ("The Tom Show"), Danny Bonaduce ("The Partridge Family"), Todd Bridges ("Diff'rent Strokes"), Garry Shandling ("It's Garry Shandling's Show"), and Rip Taylor ("The Beautiful Phyllis Diller Show").
