Hostess / Miscellaneous Roles Trivia:
The four episodes of the Barbara Stanwyck Show where Barbara was not in the cast were all pilots for possible new NBC series. They were Episode #4: "The Seventh Miracle" starring Lloyd Nolan, Episode #16: "Dear Charlie" starring Milton Berle, Episode #27: "Call Me Annie" starring Peggy Cass, and Episode #35: "Big Jake" starring Andy Devine. Unfortunately, not a single one of them made it into production.
There were also three episodes designed to develop into another new series for Barbara Stanwyck. She appeared as an American adventurer named Josephine Little who was running an import-export business in Hong Kong. The pilot for the series was episode #7, "The Miraculous Journey of Tadpole Chan". At the end of that episode, the audience was asked to write in to NBC about whether they liked it or not. The response was positive enough to spur the production of two more episodes but NBC ultimately decided to not produce this series either.
