Series Description

Call the Midwife is a historical drama series that premiered on BBC One in the United Kingdom on January 15, 2012. It's about the midwives and nuns of Nonnatus House in the terribly poor East End of London in the 1950s-60s. It concentrates on their helping families in need with healthcare with childbirth and post-natal care being their main concern.
